How It Works

The Families

To help students, we have to support families. The families are the heart of Impact MO. We partner with wrap around services in order to uplift families.

The Coach.

An “Impact MO Coach” is defined as a family facing staff of local schools, early childhood centers,  and social service agencies who have the capacity to provide ongoing support to Impact MO families. Services may begin once Impact MO’s Coaches refer families through the referral form.

All partnering schools and social service agencies are listed under Partners.

The Provider.

An “Impact MO Service Provider” is a representative from local social service agencies whose goal is to expedite the domains of service and support families who are participating in Impact MO services.

Domains of Service: housing, utilities, food, income, safety, employment, child care, adult/child education, mental health, legal, and parenting skills.  

Eligibility

Impact MO partnering schools and social service agencies get families connected with Impact MO Coalition. For a family to be eligible, their coach (case worker, school social worker, case manager) must be an Impact MO Partnering agency.

Referral

Once you have determined your school/agency is an Impact MO Partner, families can reach out to their support agency and asked to be referred into the Impact MO Coalition. Partnering coaches have access to submit a referral form, this allows families access to the Monthly Impact MO Events.

Event

Impact MO host monthly events where local service providers and coaches come together to support families. When arriving at the Impact MO Event families are guided through the event by their coach. The coaches role is to ensure the families are meeting with the necessary service providers. Impact MO Events are intended to reduce wait times for families, give families access to a direct representative from local service providers, and to embody the philosophy of wrap around services.
